PDC IDenticard®’s PremiSys® v4.5 Integrates with Schlage® NDE with Internal Push Button

Manheim, PA (June 17, 2020) – PDC IDenticard, a leading provider of innovative access control and security solutions, announced the release of PremiSys v4.5 access control and photo ID software. Version 4.5 expands upon PremiSys’ impressive list of security integrations and provides users with even more options for their PremiSys access control system.

This latest version of PremiSys integrates with Allegion’s new Schlage NDE Wireless Lock with ENGAGE™ technology that includes an internal push button (IPB).

“The PremiSys integration with Schlage wireless locks is one of the most extensive in the industry,” said Aaron Henderson, PDC IDenticard Director of Product & Support. “By adding the Schlage NDE wireless lock with internal push button to our product offering, we’re providing our customers with even more options to enhance their building security.”

The Schlage NDE wireless lock is a versatile technology that makes access control more affordable and accessible by wirelessly managing doors via Wi-Fi. The addition of an internal push button to the NDE lock is especially significant for schools, as the internal push button makes it easy to lock a classroom door from the inside.

For customers who are already using Schlage NDE locks, retrofit kits are available to modify their existing locks, eliminating the expense of replacing their existing lock hardware.

“Allegion is consistently innovating and looking for ways to deliver a better experience for end users and integrators, so we’re excited to expand integrations with PremiSys,” said Mark Casey, director of commercial electronic sales at Allegion. “Schlage NDE wireless locks are ideal for schools that want an interoperable, affordable solution that offers access control from the inside-out, as well as added protection during crises, when advanced security measures are critical.”

PDC IDenticard was the first manufacturer to integrate directly with Allegion’s ENGAGE technology using Wi-Fi. Additional integration options with the ENGAGE platform include RS-485 and direct IP for a comprehensive and flexible access control solution that can be designed around the customer’s needs.

An additional feature in PremiSys v4.5 includes integration with Avigilon ACC 7, the latest and most advanced version of Avigilon’s video management software. The integration enables PremiSys to display live and recorded video directly from the ACC 7 video servers.
