What happened to JAM Plastics?

JAM Plastics customers who now find themselves on may be wondering “what happened to JAM?” Rest assured that the high-quality products you’ve come to expect from JAM aren’t going away, and that you’ll continue to get the excellent customer service you received as a JAM customer.

Below, we’ll try to answer some of the questions you may have about this transition, and how it will affect your past and future orders.

Q: What happened to the JAM Plastics website?

A: JAM Plastics was a unit of Brady Corporation for several years, but continued to do business under the JAM name. To provide a better, more complete business experience for our customers, we have decided to consolidate our websites. no longer exists, but all of your products (and more) are here in the IDenticard online store.

Q: Who is IDenticard?

A: IDenticard is a manufacturer of identification, access and security products and solutions based in Manheim, PA, with sales and support staff across the US and Canada. Our company was founded in 1970 as a photo ID seller, and has grown to include products like badge holders, badge reels, photo ID software, card printers and more. IDenticard and JAM have both been a part of Brady Corporation for years, with the many team members working for each business simultaneously. This means the employees you interacted with as a JAM customer will still be there when you’re an IDenticard customer.

Q: Will my shopping experience be different?

A: Only slightly! The only real differences are the color scheme and the logo at the top of the page. You’ll still see the same helpful tools, like the Design a Lanyard tool or the Custom Badge Reels tool, and have the same general shopping experience that you had on JAM. Our goal was to make this transition as seamless as possible, and to provide a great experience for our customers.

Q: What about my account history?

A: If you had an online account with JAM Plastics, that account will remain active with IDenticard. In your account, you’ll be able to view your past JAM orders, your previously purchased products and perform the same tasks as the JAM website. Also, while redirects will be in place, we recommend that you change any JAM Plastics bookmarks to IDenticard’s website instead.

Q: How does this change benefit me?

A: The decision to make JAM into a part of IDenticard’s website was done with our customers in mind. Prior to JAM going away, we had two separate websites selling similar products, and each did things well. By combining the helpful, intuitive product tools from JAM with the comprehensive product and solution information from IDenticard, we feel that we’ve created a central site that’s better than or the old

We realize that change can be confusing, and that the above questions and answers may not cover everything you’d like to know. If you have any additional questions, or specific questions about how this change affects your account, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
