Supported Printers:
Any printer than can be installed on a Windows Operating System can be configured to print from the IVIS System. Certain printers are recommended for print quality and compatibility with advanced IVIS features such as magnetic encoding on PVC Cards. Teslin badge stock should not be used in a LaserJet printer. USB Printers require Windows 98/2000/XP and are not supported in 16-bit versions of IVIS Plus 500, 1000 or 2000.
Why can't I print from IVIS Plus after switching to a new printer?
- First verify the printer can print a test page from windows. This will verify the driver has been properly installed and there is communication between the computer and the printer.
- Next, click here to install the printer to Ivis and verify the printer has been selected in your card design.
