Proximity Cards: Contactless Access
Proximity cards, or “prox/proxy cards” provide access/security without insertion into a reader device by sending out a signal to a proximity reader. They are a type of RFID card that contains an antenna and a n IC chip embedded within the card.
This contactless-card approach makes them an ideal choice for access control in parking lots, secure building access and other outdoor/indoor use. Ice, snow and rain will not prevent them from being read, unlike cards that must be inserted into a slot.

IDentiPROX are an IDenticard-made product that look and work exactly like an HID printable PVC card, but at a lower cost and with equal or better quality.
IDentiPROX is HID compatible, meaning that it can replace HID cards in most systems. IDenticard backs IDentiPROX proximity cards with a lifetime guarantee. Features include:

The standard Proximity card is a clamshell-style that is a cost-effective solution for proximity access control. The clamshell style provides durable packaging and consistent read range. The card can accept adhesive-backed cards for use as a photo ID card or custom graphic card. |

Adhesive-Backed Proximity Cards
The Adhesive-Backed Proximity card fits on a standard proximity clamshell-style card. It can be printed with a logo or personalized with a name or photo ID. Available in a wide variety of secure printing formats, it can be printed with PVC or inkjet printers. Simply peel off the adhesive backing and place on the standard proximity card. |

Use a PVC printer to personalize the printable Proximity card with name and photo ID, etc. on either the front or the back of the card. |
