Here’s a revolutionary way to transform a standard dual core ID card into a durable, MIFARE® contactless smart card. This all-plastic insert includes a 1K smart chip. Simply print your card front and back with our one-pass Dual core JetPak™… enclose the SMART insert between the two layers… and laminate. You’ve now created an extremely durable, contactless smart card with the same professional appearance of your non-smart ID cards.

SMART Insert details:

1K MIFARE® contactless smart card technology
Fits standard data collection size (2-5/16” x 3-1/4”) card (Insert is slightly smaller so it doesn’t extend beyond card edges)
Slotted for horizontally-printed cards
Extremely durable all-plastic material
Must be used with dual core cards and laminating pouches
Insert is 14 mils thick. Total card thickness, when laminated in 7-mils plastic, is 48 mils.
May not be used with magnetic striped cards/pouches
