Product Description

Small package that offers solid security! Just plug card Reader/Writer into your computer (no external power or software) USB port and you're ready to go. Designed especially for MIFARE 13.56 MHz contactless smart cards that hold your login credentials, along with controlling keystrokes; present the card to the Reader/Writer to log in, or the access control system can be set up to let you be logged in only as long as your ID card is on (or near) the unit. Add the Sonar Presence Detector (BSE-PCPRX-SNR) to your system to ''see'' when you leave your PC’s vicinity, and log you out. At least one PC Log-in Reader/Writer is required for PC Log-in systems. Best of all, the unit is platform independent — supports any operating system with USB support (Unix, Windows 98SE/2000/XP, Sun, Citrix, and more) and provides smooth, contactless operation.
