SmartDisc™ and SmartKey™ Offer Smart Card Solutions for Existing Applications

(Jan. 14, 2003) -- IDenticard introduces SmartDisc and SmartKey--the newest members of the family of IDentiSMART patented contactless smart card solutions.  These affordable options allow organizations to benefit from the added security of contactless smart card technology while using their existing badges. 

There's no need to worry about the cost and hassle of rebadging.  SmartDisc and SmartKey make it convenient to integrate smart card technology into an existing security system, so there is no loss of prior investment.  Both SmartDisc and SmartKey feature the standard MIFARE architecture platform and can be programmed to work with a variety of access control readers.

SmartDisc is a 1-5/8 inch wafer that can be applied to any existing card surface to transform it instantly into a contactless smart card.  SmartKey is a two-inch, teardrop shaped, flat key that allows access to secured doors, when presented at a programmed, contactless reader.  Both products are made of durable material and feature high data integrity (16-bit CRC, parity, bit coding and bit counting).
