Lancaster, PA (May 30, 2003) IDenticard, a leading producer of biometric security identification and access control systems, and Ortega InfoSystems, a leading developer of web-enabled video integration software for the security industry, have formed a strategic technology partnership to provide a fully integrated security management solution for commercial, industrial and Homeland Security markets.

IDenticard plans to integrate Ortega's Video Integration software for graphical mapping, analog and digital video integration and control and a unified graphical user interface into IDenticard's IDentiPASS access control systems.  IDentiPASS is IDenticard's most powerful access control system.  It adapts to organizations of every size, growing and expanding as a customer's needs change.

"We're excited about the expanded opportunities for integrated solutions this alliance will bring to the marketplace," said Mr. Brent Iles, Director of Sales, IDenticard.  "IDentiPASS and Ortega's video integration technology presents visual data to users in a comprehensive and flexible graphical interface.  As a result, IDenticard can now offer our customers a comprehensive access control package that provides integration for third-party security systems, such as DVRs, matrix switches, burglar and other subsystems into an easy-to-use graphical interface."

Ortega InfoSystems software creates a web-enabled security information system through which users are able to access their security information anytime, anywhere in a cost-efficient way. Ortega InfoSystems core software technology is Windows-based and provides an open architecture platform that allows simple integration to third-party hardware platforms.

"Ortega InfoSystems sophisticated, secure and intuitive mapping, video integration and unified graphical user interface further enhances IDenticard's IDentiPASS access control systems," said Tony Hanseder, VP Product Marketing, Ortega InfoSystems. "This partnership will allow us to join our core technologies to deploy an improved security information management solution that now includes both analog and IP video for improved alarm notification and acknowledgment, video and camera controls."
