IDenticard and Lista: Combining the Power of Access Control with Electronically Locking Cabinets

Lancaster, PA (May 4, 2004) IDenticard, a leading producer of biometric security identification and access control systems, and Lista International Corporation, a world leader in the manufacturing of high-density storage products and workspace systems, have formed an alliance to make IDenticard's access control systems compatible with Lista's E-Lock electronic locking cabinets.

Through its interface with Lista's E-Lock storage system, IDentiPASS -- IDenticard's premier access security system -- ensures that only authorized employees have access to particular cabinets or drawers. Equipped with readers, the cabinets unlock electronically only with the card swipe of a designated user. "This solution provides an organized, compact way for customers to store tools and manage maintenance, repair and operating inventory," said John Alfieri, vice president, Lista. The IDentiPASS system also features powerful report capabilities so companies can track who is authorized to access a specific storage cabinet at predetermined times.
