IDenticard® Speeds IDs for Rescue Workers at Ground Zero New York, NY (May 9, 2002) -- Staten Island's Developmental Disabilities Office, whose workers must gain access to Ground Zero in lower Manhattan, has specified IDentiGuard, the new photochromatic security material developed by IDenticard, to assure proper verification of their security identification cards. Law enforcement officials at the site report the multicolored images, which change in color and intensity as the identification badges are tilted, are making immediate, on-the-spot verification easier for police officers guarding the site.
SIDDO officials report the new security image resists unauthorized duplication by people using ordinary copiers, computer and digital imaging printers. The social services agency uses an IDenticard IVIS Plus 500 imaging system to produce the security credentials. |
