IDenticard's 37-bit Format Now on Kronos's List of Approved Formats
Lancaster, PA (September 28, 2010) - IDenticard Systems, a leading producer of security identification and access control solutions, has partnered with Kronos, Inc. to include IDenticard’s 37-bit format on the Kronos list of approved formats. Organizations that are using Kronos and ADP time and attendance terminals may now benefit from the increased security provided by the 37-bit format.
Available on IDenticard’s IDentiPROX™ and HID cards, 37-bit format is a high security, proprietary proximity format that combines a four-digit site code with a six-digit card number and guarantees a unique card for every cardholder. The 37-bit format more than doubles the capacity of 26-bit format. With 26-bit, duplicate cards may exist because of the limited card number and site code combinations.
